Plant Light – Located next to Mitsui Outlet Park, it consists of dots of light that spread out like plants, breathing naturally in rhythm, swaying in the water with the wind.

Romantic Sea of Lights – “I Love Peppa Pig” Lantern Area (Travel Plaza), Happiness That Came Later, Natural Beauty Galaxy, Taiwan Provincial City God Temple (Wuchang Street), Section 1 of Zhonghua Road.

Wansheng Ignites It All: Wansheng Village – Teachers and students from Wanfu Elementary School interpret local stories from their own perspectives through community activities in Wansheng Village. Their works are presented as paper-cuttings or dynamic story lanterns. The bold red festive vibe and the “the more, the better” overall aesthetic make it both beautiful and photogenic.

Fun with Mickey: 90 Years of Magic – At 90 years old, Mickey Mouse is definitely an ageless icon. This year at the Taipei Lantern Festival, the “Mickey Mouse 90th Anniversary Taiwan Limited Edition Commemorative Gift Box” features a 3-meter-tall inflatable Mickey Mouse leaping out of a Taiwan-exclusive gift box. The side of the box is equipped with a circular LED screen playing classic Mickey Mouse animations over the years, evoking heartfelt nostalgia and emotion among fans.

Dream Planet – Originally overlooked, this spot unexpectedly became an incredibly photogenic Instagram spot.
Ever-Changing Goddess, Guardian of Happiness – The anime version of Ximending’s guardian deity, Lin Mo Niang, dons a new outfit and makes a comeback, quietly watching over everyone at the lantern festival.
