Located in the town center of St Helens, Merseyside, England, Glass World is a museum that opened in 2000 following the integration of the Pilkington Glass Museum and the St Helens Local Museum.

Glass World is a specially designed contemporary visitors' centre offering plenty of new things to see and do. Here you can watch fascinating live glass-blowing demonstrations, learn how to make beautiful ornaments in an engaging glass-blowing workshop, and explore the rich history of St Helens as well as its once-thriving coal and glass industries. The centre also features a vast collection of paintings, Egyptology artefacts, glass-related objects, and a colourful array of rugby memorabilia. In the Godfrey Pilkington Gallery, you can view classic works by artists from St Helens, Merseyside, and the North West of England, and even purchase pieces that catch your eye. If you need a break, you can also relax in the charming on-site café with a cup of cappuccino.
