Bourbaki Panorama

Introduction A large circular panoramic mural not far from Lion Park, it is one of the few and largest 360-degree panorama museums in the world. Painted by artist Castres starting in 1881.

The mural depicts the scene of the French army entering the snowy Swiss landscape under the command of General Bourbaki during the Franco-Prussian War. Visitors can deeply experience the exhaustion and despair of the defeated French soldiers in the Jura Mountains, creating an immersive atmosphere. Transportation Take tram line 11 and get off at Löwenplatz station. It is not far from the Lion Monument. Tickets/Opening Hours Tickets: CHF 8 for adults, CHF 5 for youths aged 6–16. Opening Hours: 9:00–18:00.
