Wagner Museum

Introduction  The great 19th-century German composer Richard Wagner lived in Lucerne from 1866 to 1872. The light yellow villa nestled in the lakeside woods where he resided has now been turned into a museum.

Masterpieces such as "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg" and "Götterdämmerung" were created here. The museum plays Wagner’s melodious music and displays his favorite instruments, as well as sheet music, photographs, and more.  Ticket/Opening Hours  Admission: CHF 6 for adults, CHF 3 for children.  Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–12:00 and 14:00–17:00. Closed on Mondays and from December to mid-March.
