The palms come from the Caribbean, South America, the Hawaiian Islands, Australia, India, the Mascarene Islands, Central America, New Guinea, Borneo, the Canary Islands, the Philippines, and other regions, with the largest number originating from the Caribbean. It is the most comprehensive botanical garden in the world for showcasing fan palms, silver palms, and Cuban fan palms.
