Arxan Railway Station
Introduction The Arxan Railway Station was built in 1937. It is an East Asian-style Japanese building, a two-story structure made of a mix of brick, wood, granite, and reinforced concrete. The outer wall of the first floor is surrounded by a random rubble stone wall built from granite, and the roof is coated with ochre-colored cement. This might be the most beautiful of China’s small railway stations, somewhat resembling a small station in Switzerland. Watching the sunset from the station at dusk is a very atmospheric experience. Today, the entire railway station is well preserved and still in use. It has not only aesthetic value but also certain historical significance.
