Belgium’s automobile industry disappeared 60 years ago, but Belgians firmly believe that forgetting the past means losing the future. They established a massive car museum in Brussels — Autoworld. The museum is located in the Belgian capital of Brussels, housed in the southern hall of the Cinquantenaire Park.

Autoworld Museum is one of the world’s most renowned car museums. In its classical arched halls, over 350 vehicles document the evolution of the automobile since 1886. Organized chronologically, the museum features several themed exhibition areas, including the Origins of the Car, Beautiful Europe, The Golden Years, and Design Stories, among which the most captivating are undoubtedly the classic vintage cars. In addition to well-known brands like Renault, Bentley, and Ferrari, Belgians take special pride in the once-glorious domestic brand Minerva, named after the Roman goddess of wisdom. Before WWII, this brand ranked among the world’s top engines and luxury cars.
