Jubilee Park

Jubilee Park is a large urban park covering an area of 30 hectares, located in the easternmost part of Brussels' European Quarter in Belgium. It is a group of commemorative structures arranged in a U-shape, built by King Leopold II to mark the 50th anniversary of Belgian independence during the 1880 National Exhibition.

The centerpiece of Jubilee Park is the triumphal arch erected in 1905. Designed by architect Girault under the orders of King Leopold II, it exudes a majestic and commemorative aura, evoking the spirit of great victories. On either side of the arch stand the Museum of the Belgian National History and Fine Arts and the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History. Surrounding structures include notable sites such as the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History, the Jubilee Museum, Autoworld, the Great Mosque of Brussels, and the Temple of Human Passions. The park's surroundings feature lush lawns and vibrant floral displays, making it a popular leisure spot for Brussels residents on holidays. It is also a must-visit destination for many tourists traveling to Brussels.
