Relics of the Japanese Puppet Regime War: "Wuchagou Aircraft Shelters"

The "Wuchagou Aircraft Shelters" relics of the Japanese Puppet Regime War serve as a patriotic education base.

The ruins of the Japanese puppet airport in Wuchagou are located at the foot of the mountain 2 kilometers southeast of Wuchagou Town. The airport is 800 meters long and 1200 meters wide. Nine aircraft shelters (hangars) were built on the site, each accompanied by a small ammunition depot. The aircraft shelters are shaped like half a steamed bun, standing over 5 meters high, 12 meters wide, and 24 meters long, arranged in a straight line from east to west. Currently, the overall structure of the Wuchagou Japanese puppet airport ruins is well preserved. It has been designated as a national-level cultural heritage protection unit, serving as an important patriotic education base in Arxan City and a key component of the city’s red tourism offerings.
