Introduction The Art Museum is located in the heart of downtown Lyon. Formerly the Saint Pierre Convent for women, it boasts an art history spanning five thousand years. With one of the most extensive art collections in France, it is known as the “Little Louvre.”

The exhibits include artworks and sculptures ranging from ancient Greece and Egypt to the Middle Ages and the present day. The 7,000-square-meter exhibition space offers visitors a place to explore historical and cultural heritage. Additionally, there are rich collections of sculptures and paintings from the Middle Ages to the present, making it well worth a visit. Transport Take the metro to the Hôtel de Ville station. Tickets/Opening Hours Opening hours: 10:30–18:00 daily, closed on Tuesdays.
