Printing Museum

Introduction The Printing Museum was established in 1964. The museum itself is an ancient building from the 15th century, which at one time served as a meeting place for the city council of Lyon. A notable feature of the museum is its educational aspect, offering insights into the history of printing. It houses books from all periods, ancient archival documents, representative printing technique woodblocks, well-preserved printing equipment and tools, among other items.

At the same time, it also provides an exhibition hall to showcase the latest printed materials and publications. Transportation Take the metro to Cordeliers Station. Tickets / Opening Hours Opening hours: Daily, 9:30–12:00; 14:00–18:00
