Balcony Museum

The Balcony Museum is located in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, and has a history of 220 years, making it the oldest still-in-use wooden residential building in the Bahamas. The "Balcony" was originally a private residence built in the elegant 18th-century wooden royal architectural style. In 1985, the Central Bank of the Bahamas purchased the property and subsequently undertook comprehensive renovations. It reopened as a museum in 1994. Unlike other museums, the collection here mainly features luxurious furniture and unique items, making it one of the most distinctive museums in the Bahamas. Admission to the museum is free, but its opening hours are limited: from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursdays.
