Lake Laberge is located in the northern part of Whitehorse (also known as "White Horse"), Yukon Territory, Canada. It is a long, narrow lake through which the Yukon River flows. Spanning 50 kilometers in length and up to 5 kilometers in width, the lake maintains consistently cold water temperatures and is especially well-known for its winter dog sledding activities.

Lake Laberge was formed by glacial activity during the last Ice Age. It is abundant in lake trout and whitefish, making it a widely renowned fishing destination in the Yukon that attracts anglers year-round. The lake gained additional fame due to a poem written by the celebrated poet and writer Robert W. Service. Known as the "Bard of the Yukon," Robert W. Service was inspired to write a widely circulated verse while wandering along the shores of Lake Laberge.
