How to Take the Songshan Line Fastest and Most Economically: Transfer Strategies for 8 Key Areas

The Songshan MRT Line is expected to open in mid-November. After its launch, the lines will be divided into the Songshan-Xindian Line, Tamsui-Xinyi Line, Wenhu Line, Zhonghe-Xinlu Line, and Banqiao-Nangang Line, reverting to their originally designed operational modes for easier identification. To help commuters across various districts quickly familiarize themselves with the riding routes, Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has planned eight key areas based on MRT operational routes, providing “regional transfer strategies” for reference. This enables everyone to easily master transfer tips and save money while riding the MRT.

The eight key areas, planned according to MRT operational routes, are: “Xindian Area,” “Zhong-Yonghe Area,” “Nanjing East-West Road & Songshan Area,” “Nangang, Banqiao & Tucheng Area,” “Tamsui Area,” “Wenshan & Neihu Area,” “Da’an & Xinyi Area,” and “Xinzhuang, Sanchong & Luzhou Area.”
