Confederation Bridge (Confederation Bridge) was established in 1966 and is a 12.9-kilometer-long cross-sea highway bridge that connects Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick Province. The bridge utilizes super-large precast block technology and is hailed by the world as “the pinnacle of modern bridge engineering.” This groundbreaking bridge set numerous world records in the design and structural technology of super-large precast blocks.

Confederation Bridge is one of the longest cross-sea bridges in the world today, with a total length of 13,000 meters. You can drive from New Brunswick across the bridge and reach Prince Edward Island in about 12 minutes, then take a ferry back to experience the classic old-fashioned feeling. Confederation Bridge has only two lanes, with no median strip, each lane being 3.75 meters wide, and overtaking is prohibited. Each side has a 1.75-meter-wide shoulder, and the general speed limit is 80 kilometers per hour.

The Confederation Bridge is especially beautiful under the sunset. The blue seawater meets the distant glow of the setting sun, and the curved bridge looks like a dragon floating on the water surface, with the bridge lights twinkling brightly.
