Edutainment Visual Feast – MGM MACAU’s Magical Light Journey – “Light 0? Sea of Wonders”
Since May, MGM MACAU has introduced the “Magical Light Journey,” designed with the ocean as its theme and featuring a central installation called the “Water Dome” in the Sky Pavillion. This cylindrical structure, embraced by coral, houses over a thousand swimming fish, blending ocean and sky into one. Key elements include a crimson coral palace, the cylindrical “Water Dome,” plus large seaweed, bubble ornaments, and schools of fish. Leveraging the uniqueness of the Sky Pavillion, it reinterprets the wonders of nature through light and shadow, presenting a fantastical underwater world. The “Water Dome” features species such as three small blacktip reef sharks from Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and over a thousand fish including brownstripe red snapper, yellowback fusilier, and spadefish from the South China Sea. Children can enjoy watching diverse species of fish swimming freely in one place at the same time.
