Botataung Pagoda

Also known as the Pagoda of 1,000 Buddhas, it was built at the same time as Sule Pagoda. It was destroyed by the Royal Air Force in 1943 and rebuilt in the latter half of the 20th century. Many artifacts and jewels over 2,000 years old were discovered during the reconstruction. Visitors can enter the interior of the pagoda to view the relic chamber.
