SilkAir launches flights to Boracay in May and Mandalay in June

SilkAir, a regional airline under the Singapore Airlines Group, is set to begin services between Singapore and two new Southeast Asian destinations, expanding its flight network in the Asia-Pacific region to 47 destinations.
Starting from May 27, 2014, SilkAir will commence a thrice-weekly service to Kalibo Airport (Boracay) via Cebu; and plans to launch a thrice-weekly service to Mandalay, Myanmar via Yangon starting from June 10, 2014. The new services are expected to be operated by Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, which feature both Business and Economy Class cabins.
