Ruhyýet Palace
Attraction Introduction
Located opposite the Presidential Palace, it has become one of the symbols of Ashgabat. The marble structure of the palace and its sky-blue dome blend seamlessly with the city center’s architectural ensemble. The conference hall can accommodate 2,800 people and can also be used as an opera house, theater, or cinema as needed. The first floor houses the Hall of the Heads of State.
Built by the French company Bouygues, it was completed in December 1999. The 9th joint session of Turkmenistan's Halk Maslahaty (People's Council), Elders Council, and the National Revival Movement was held here from December 27–29 of the previous year.
