Tongjun Pavilion
Attraction Introduction
Tongjun Pavilion was built in 1117. During the Goryeo and Joseon dynasties, it served as the northern general’s platform of Uiju County Fortress.
It is a hip-and-gable roof structure with four bays in the front (14.41 meters) and four bays on the side (11.85 meters). Along with Uiju County Fortress, it carries the proud stories of ancestors who bravely repelled foreign invaders throughout history.
