Mingachevir Reservoir
Attraction Introduction Located in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan, adjacent to the Goychay Nature Reserve, it belongs to Mingachevir City. To its north is the Aghgol Lake, and to its south is Yevlakh.
Features
The reservoir is home to the famous Mingachevir Hydroelectric Power Station. It hosts a variety of bird species and a rich diversity of fish. On both sides of the reservoir are earth dams, the power station building, and spillway structures.
