Jumeirah Mosque

Construction of Jumeirah Mosque began in 1975 and was completed in 1978. It is currently one of Dubai’s most important landmarks and is widely recognized by locals as one of the most beautiful large mosques among Dubai’s many mosques. It also serves as a place of prayer for numerous Muslims. The Jumeirah Mosque adopts a square architectural style, supported by multiple columns and arched structures, which gives it a distinctive appearance.

Jumeirah Mosque can accommodate up to 1,200 Muslims at a time, with separate entrances for men and women. Before entering the mosque, men are required to remove their shoes, and there is also a dedicated prayer hall for women. Upon entering the prayer hall, the first thing that catches the eye is a huge chandelier, dazzlingly bright. The white columns, colorful domes, geometric patterns, and bell-shaped chandeliers inside the hall are all vividly visible, creating a dazzling and beautiful scene that resembles a magnificent Islamic art-style painting. A circular dome hangs high overhead, beneath which are mostly octagonal structures or eight pillars, standing majestically and supporting the entire mosque.

At night, soft lighting highlights its exquisite twin minarets and majestic dome, making them especially enchanting. The bright moonlight casts a serene and mystical glow over Jumeirah Mosque, further accentuating the sacred and elegant artistic style of Islamic architecture. It is one of Dubai’s most prominent landmarks and a favorite spot for photographers.
