Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is a highly favored wetland reserve known for its large population of migratory birds. It is the largest wildlife sanctuary in Dubai and is planned to be designated as an internationally important wetland, becoming the UAE's first such site — a “Ramsar Site” (amsar site).

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is home to a large number of birds, crustaceans, small mammals, and fish, providing them with a safe habitat to live. The sanctuary is especially renowned for the flamingos on its wetlands, primarily the Greater Flamingo, with around 500 of these large birds—standing about 1.1–1.5 meters tall and weighing 2–4 kilograms—making the area more attractive and distinctive. In addition to flamingos, other birds that can be spotted include Kentish Plovers, Ospreys, Marsh Harriers, and small wading birds. To facilitate birdwatching, there are two hides within the sanctuary that allow visitors to observe the birds up close.
