Antalya Museum

Antalya Museum is one of the largest and most important museums in Turkey, having received the “European Council Special Prize” in 1988. The museum covers an area of 7,000 square meters and includes 13 exhibition halls, including the Natural History Hall, Pre-History Hall, Classic Period Hall, The Mosaic Hall, Statuary Hall, Hall of Imperial Statues, Ethnographic Hall, and an open-air gallery.

The museum displays over 5,000 artworks, including statues, fine art pieces, silver sculptures, ivory carvings, and handicrafts, vividly showcasing the development of the Mediterranean region of Anatolia and southern Asia Minor from prehistoric times to the establishment of Turkey. In addition, the museum houses a collection of 25,000 to 30,000 artworks.
