The Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua is the largest Roman Catholic church in Istanbul, Turkey, located on İstiklal Avenue in the Beyoğlu district. Compared to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (1846) in the Harbiye district, the Church of St. Louis of the French (1581) in Beyoğlu, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul (1841) in Galata, the Church of the Assumption in Kadıköy, the Church of St. Stephen in Yeşilköy, and the Bakırköy Church in Bakırköy, the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua is the most important Catholic church in Istanbul and the one with the largest congregation.

The original Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua was built by the Italian community of Istanbul in 1725 but was later demolished. The current building was constructed on the same site between 1906 and 1912 in the Venetian Neo-Gothic style. The architect was Giulio Mongeri, who also designed many other significant buildings in Istanbul and Ankara. The church is served by Italian priests. The Saturday Mass is in Italian, starting at 7:00 PM; the Sunday Masses are at 9:30 AM in Polish, 10:00 AM in English, and 5:00 PM in Turkish; the Tuesday Mass is in Turkish, starting at 11:00 AM. English-language Masses are held Monday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.
