The Olympic Racer Boat Stadium once hosted the 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Seoul Olympics, with a capacity for over 1,300 racer boats. Equipped with international-standard facilities, it is a globally recognized venue. Boat races take place frequently here, and there are also various sports facilities, a statue park, amusement rides, walking trails, and rest areas commemorating the Olympic boat competitions. Nearby, there are training schools for various marine leisure activities such as racer boat schools, windsurfing schools, and diving schools. Large yachts are also available on the East Sea for leisure and entertainment. Amid the romantic atmosphere aboard these yachts, you can enjoy the vast ocean and the beautiful surrounding scenery. Additionally, there’s a plaza and a variety of souvenirs. In February 2002, all fences were removed to allow the forest and sea to blend harmoniously, creating a resting space for citizens. The stadium is open 24 hours a day. As a result, the Olympic Racer Boat Stadium has received high praise and affection from both tourists and locals.
