Tigerair Taiwan announces Jan. 19 launch of “Taoyuan–Busan” route; one-way fares start from NT$777, on sale now

Tigerair Taiwan announced today (28th) that it will launch the “Taoyuan–Busan” route on January 19 next year. This is the airline’s second route to South Korea, following the Daegu route. To celebrate the launch, Tigerair Taiwan will offer one-way untaxed fares starting from NT$777 from 10:00 AM tomorrow (29th) until 11:59 PM on November 30. The travel period is from January 19, 2017, to March 25, 2017.

In the initial phase of the Taoyuan–Busan route, Tigerair Taiwan will operate three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The outbound flight IT606 departs Taoyuan Airport at 15:50 (15:25 on Thursdays), and the inbound flight IT607 departs Busan Airport at 19:35 (19:30 on Thursdays).

Tigerair Taiwan stated that with the launch of the Taoyuan–Busan route, travelers can freely combine departures from either Daegu or Busan. This allows them not only to explore both cities but also visit both North and South Gyeongsang Provinces in one trip, offering more diverse travel options and flexible itinerary planning.

To celebrate the launch, Tigerair Taiwan will offer one-way untaxed fares starting from NT$777 from 10:00 AM tomorrow (29th) until 11:59 PM on November 30. The travel period is from January 19, 2017, to March 25, 2017.

Busan is South Korea’s largest port city, featuring a variety of marine attractions and historical sites. The popular Haeundae Beach draws not only large numbers of locals every year but is also a favorite spot for tourists.
