Busan APEC House is located in U-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan Metropolitan City, South Korea. Its name is derived from the pure Korean words Nuri (world), maru (summit), and APEC House, which symbolizes the venue of the APEC meeting, conveying the meaning of “a gathering place for the world’s elite — the APEC House.” Situated on the scenic Dongbaekseom Island, it is surrounded by dense stands of Dongbaek trees and pine forests. After the APEC summit, it was repurposed as a memorial site and a venue for high-level international conferences.

Busan APEC House is a three-story building designed in a modern style that incorporates traditional Korean architecture known as a "pavilion." The shape of the roof artistically represents the ridgeline of Dongbaekseom Island, while the interior decor reflects Korea’s creative traditional culture. With the concept of a traditional Korean house (hanok) lobby, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of famous landmarks such as Odongdo Island, Gwangan Bridge, and Gwaneumsan Observation Slope right from the entrance.
