The station is quite unique, featuring a building constructed with a combination of glass and wood that blends modern and traditional Japanese styles, exuding a strong new-century design aesthetic.

Before entering the station, the first thing that catches your eye is a 14-meter-high reddish-brown gate that is both majestic and imposing. This massive stainless steel mesh structure building shimmers with a metallic sheen, and the gate’s dome is adorned with 3,000 glass panes connecting the east and west, guiding visitors into the station. Even while waiting inside the station, you won’t get bored, as there are acrobatic performances inside Kanazawa Station where passengers can sit and enjoy the show.
