Shirahama Town is a town located in Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. To distinguish it from Shirahama (formerly part of Awa District) in Minami-Boso City, Chiba Prefecture, it is commonly referred to as Nanki-Shirahama. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it is like a jewel embedded in the azure Pacific Ocean.
