Oyanai Farm is located at the southern foot of Mt. Iwate in Iwate Prefecture, northeastern Japan. It is a private farm with a history of 100 years, and its name comes from the initials of the three founders: Gishin Ono, Yanosuke Iwasaki, and Masaru Inoue.

Backed by the majestic Mt. Iwate, Oyanai Farm stretches 15 kilometers from east to west and 13 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of about 3,000 hectares. It is Japan's largest private farm and one of the famous tourist attractions in Iwate Prefecture. The farm boasts blue skies, white clouds, fresh air, and a beautiful environment, with lush green grass, herds of cattle and sheep, as well as old silos and barns — an idyllic and peaceful pastoral scene. Visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse themselves in the tranquil rural lifestyle, as well as enjoy activities such as milking cows, horseback riding, archery, and watching sheepdog performances. In addition, related facilities on the farm, including the dairy factory, planetarium, and exhibition museum, are open to visitors and have received widespread acclaim.
