Atherton Tablelands
Introduction: Located 100 kilometers west of Cairns, this unique highland area is dotted with waterfalls, volcanic lakes, rolling hills, and dense rainforests, along with several charming villages. Visitors can drive along the Waterfall Circuit to explore on their own, or join a tour departing from Cairns, returning via the Kuranda Scenic Railway.
