Introduction

Kaohsiung Museum of History is located in Yancheng District, Kaohsiung City, by the famous Love River. It was renovated from the former Kaohsiung City Hall and officially opened in 1998. The museum takes a professional approach to collecting and organizing historical artifacts from the Kaohsiung area, systematically arranging and categorizing historic sites and ruins, and accepting donations of historically valuable items from the public. In the future, it will further strengthen its collection research functions. Guided by the philosophy of sustainable enterprise management, the museum combines local human resources and assets to deeply showcase the diverse aspects of Greater Kaohsiung’s culture, history, and industries. Address: No. 272, Zhongzheng 4th Road, Yancheng District, Kaohsiung City 　 Transport Take bus No. 1, 2, 60, or 88 from in front of Kaohsiung Railway Station and get off at Yancheng Roundabout.　 Admission/Opening Hours Opening Hours: Closed on Mondays; Tuesdays to Fridays 09:00–17:00; Saturdays and Sundays 09:00–21:00.
