Introduction

The Museum of Science and Technology is a comprehensive science museum, featuring both permanent and special exhibition halls. The exhibitions cover topics related to contemporary applied technology development and various themes designed to promote science education among the general public. The facilities also include a 3D cinema, a multimedia theater, and a "South Hall" that functions as a multi-purpose complex for research and conferences. The exhibition content can be divided into four major thematic areas: the history and legacy of technology, technology in daily life, materials and machinery, and information and energy—scientific knowledge that is closely related to our everyday lives. Visitors can engage directly with the exhibits, participating in hands-on activities to experience the wonders of technology. In addition, the museum offers a variety of educational and family-friendly science activities every month, all designed to be interactive, engaging, and fun, while combining scientific knowledge with learning through play. The 3D cinema features an ultra-wide flat screen. By wearing 3D glasses, audiences can enjoy three-dimensional movies, and the experience is further enhanced by a six-track high-fidelity sound system, delivering a powerful audiovisual effect that makes visitors feel as though they are part of the action. Transportation: Get off at Kaohsiung Railway Station. If you arrive at the front station, take city bus No. 60; if you arrive at the back station, take bus No. 73. On weekends, there is also a special museum shuttle bus service. Admission / Opening Hours
