Kaohsiung Leisure Farm is located in Wailiu, Jiyang Li, Meinong District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, under the administration of Pingtung Farm, which is managed by the Veterans Affairs Council of Taiwan's Executive Yuan. Established on March 20th, 1955, it initially served to assist veterans with employment and to resettle soldiers returning from Yunnan and Myanmar. It is now one of the well-known attractions in Meinong District, Kaohsiung.

Covering a total area of approximately 8.4 hectares, Kaohsiung Leisure Farm includes dining areas, accommodation facilities, multi-functional meeting rooms, camping zones, barbecue areas, a butterfly ecological park, and a water-friendly park. Among these, the butterfly ecological park is the most popular with visitors. This ecological zone is home to dozens of butterfly species, making it one of the largest butterfly eco-parks in southern Taiwan. Through guided tours led by professionals, visitors can closely observe the entire process of butterflies emerging from their cocoons, gaining deeper insight into their life cycle. Additionally, as the butterflies are bred on-site, visitors can enjoy the magical sight of colorful butterflies dancing in the air at any time of the year.
