Yuhang Park, Macau

Yuhang Park, named for its close connection to the nearby Yuhang Market, was completed and opened in 1994. Designed as an all-day open plaza, the park is situated in Macau’s densely populated northern district, close to the large Yuhang Municipal Complex.

In response to the significant increase in the local population and vehicle numbers, and to address the shortage of parking spaces, the Macau government launched a redevelopment plan for Yuhang Market Park in 2005. A three-level underground parking lot was added beneath the park, and the park itself was redesigned. It reopened to the public in early 2007.

Thanks to convenient transportation in the area, the presence of a large market, well-connected pathways within the park, as well as facilities such as children's play areas and fitness equipment, it has become a popular spot for residents to relax and entertain themselves on a daily basis.
