Macao Olympic Sports Centre

The Macao Olympic Sports Centre was first opened in February 1997 and reopened after reconstruction on August 3, 2005. Covering an area of 35,585 square metres, it is suitable for hosting a wide range of sports and cultural events, from athletics to football matches, as well as being an ideal venue for concerts and the opening and closing ceremonies of large-scale events. The green belt surrounding the Macao Stadium also benefits the community environment, adding vibrancy and colour.
