Situated next to the Chek Lap Kau Factory, the A-Ma Medical Temple, also known as "Ka Shin Tong," was constructed in the 26th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. It was renovated between 1986 and 1987. Originally functioning as a charitable organization that offered free medical treatment to local residents, it was later turned into a temple enshrining the Medicine Deity. The temple retains commemorative plaques for its establishment, including “Feng Yang Ren Feng” and “Hai Guo Chang Chun.” One of the plaques was gifted by the Kiang Wu Hospital and dates back over 100 years, making it highly valuable.
