Galaxy Macau Resort is owned by Galaxy Entertainment Group from Hong Kong. Covering an area of 550,000 square meters, it includes 2,200 rooms and suites, as well as the world’s largest skytop surf pool. Combining gaming, entertainment, and vacation experiences, “Galaxy Macau” was built with a total investment of HK$15.5 billion over five years. It officially opened on May 15, 2011, and is expected to accommodate 30,000 to 40,000 guests daily.

Constructed by Galaxy Entertainment Group in partnership with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and Japan’s Okura Hotel & Resorts, the “Galaxy Macau” integrated resort is not only one of the best tourist destinations in Macau but also ranks among the top resorts in the world. The distinctive “Galaxy Macau” sets itself apart from other resorts in Macau by offering a premium Asian-style service experience, a wide selection of Asian cuisines, and top-tier leisure and entertainment — making it a comprehensive holiday hotspot.

Built at a cost of HK$14.9 billion and spanning 550,000 square meters, the latest integrated resort — Galaxy Macau Resort — is Macau’s first Asia-themed destination and has become one of the largest integrated leisure projects in Asia. With the concept of “Commanding the World, Rooted in Asia,” Galaxy Macau Resort offers approximately 2,200 rooms across three renowned Asian hotel brands: 250 suites and 10 water villas at “Banyan Tree Macau,” 500 rooms at “The Okura Macau,” and 1,500 rooms at “Galaxy Hotel.” It features over 50 Asian dining options, a diverse range of Asian-inspired entertainment including the “Cabaret” lounge and performance venue, as well as the world’s largest skytop surf pool. In addition, to further enhance guest entertainment, a nine-screen multiplex cinema will be added later this year.
