Hornsey Road Park

Hornsey Road Park is located at the junction of Hornsey Road and Tat Chee Avenue in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It features various water play facilities built along the stream that flows from Little West Lake, providing a recreational space for the public. The park is currently under the management of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Within Hornsey Road Park, the natural stream from Little West Lake and the site’s terrain have been used to construct water streams, waterfalls, and several small ponds. Some areas feature pavilions styled after traditional Jiangnan water town architecture. The park retains its original natural woodland and is lined with various flowers along its walking paths. Facilities for visitors include restrooms, beverage vending machines, and seating areas with shelters. The park also houses the Hornsey Road Squash and Table Tennis Centre, a five-storey modern air-conditioned concrete building that includes a restaurant, 16 squash courts, 20 table tennis tables, washrooms, changing rooms, and showers.

In 2012, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong gave Hornsey Road Park a makeover through its “Trendy Parks” initiative, introducing innovatively designed furniture and signage, as well as a comprehensive upgrade of park facilities, presenting a completely renewed look for the public.
