Kowloon Tsai Park

Kowloon Tsai Park (English: Kowloon Tsai Park) is a large park in Hong Kong, located in Kowloon Tsai, Kowloon. It was officially opened on June 5, 1964, by then-Governor Sir David Trench and is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong. The park covers an area of 14.99 hectares.

In the 1950s, as part of the runway extension project at Kai Tak Airport, a hill in Kowloon Tsai was situated within the landing approach path of Runway 13. For safety reasons, part of the hill was flattened, and the excavated earth and stones were used for land reclamation at Kowloon Bay to build the runway, while the remaining land was developed into Kowloon Tsai Park.

Bauhinia Garden, hard-surface seven-a-side football pitch, hard-surface basketball court, artificial turf football pitch, natural grass football pitch, roller-skating rink, jogging track, fitness area for senior citizens, foot reflexology path, children’s playground, pet garden, sports ground, swimming pool, and snack kiosk.
