Tsing Yi Sports Ground

Tsing Yi Sports Ground is located on Tsing King Road, Tsing Yi Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. With a capacity of 1,500 people, it is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The sports ground features a covered stand, which includes a grass football pitch (equipped with floodlights for evening matches), a 400-metre running track, three sand pits (used for long jump events), as well as other athletic facilities.

Local Football Events

The Hong Kong Football Association once trialled a home-and-away system during the 2000–2001 season, scheduling nine matches at Tsing Yi Sports Ground, but attendance was low. The highest recorded attendance was for a friendly match between the Hong Kong team and the Hong Kong League XI, with 1,110 spectators. During the 2009–2010 season, the Hong Kong Football Association reintroduced the home-and-away system, assigning Tsing Yi Sports Ground as the home venue for both Sun Hei and Tuen Mun Progoal (Tuen Mun Progoal was later disqualified by the Hong Kong Football Association from participating in the Hong Kong First Division League). In the 2013–2014 season, the association redistributed the venues, assigning Tsing Yi Sports Ground as the home ground for Sun Hei and Citizen.
