Kalanggur Reservoir

Kalanggur Reservoir is located more than 30 kilometers from the city center. The reservoir scenic area is situated in the hilly basin at the foot of the Tacheng Mountains, where the Kalanggur River, which originates from the main peak of the Tacheng Range, gathers here. In recent years, following planning and development, a medium-sized agricultural irrigation reservoir has taken shape like a blue jewel, set amid verdant grasslands and blossoming mountain wildflowers. The area around the reservoir has been developed with Kazakh-style yurt tourist spots, blending tourist attractions seamlessly with the natural landscape.
