Tacheng Five-String River National Wetland Park is a national-level wetland park.

Tacheng Five-String River National Wetland Park encompasses five rivers — the Wulasitai River, Jiagurtamu River, Dongmenwai River, Shifan River, and Kalanggur River — along with their surrounding wetlands. The source areas of these rivers belong to a rare type of freshwater spring wetland. The wetland park spans 22.79 km from north to south and 10.7 km from east to west, with a planned total area of about 2,596.77 hectares, of which 2,448.17 hectares are wetlands, resulting in a wetland ratio of 94.3%. The planned wetland ecosystem is relatively intact, with abundant water resources, good water quality, and diverse habitats. Based on the natural conditions of different areas within the park and the surrounding socio-economic situation, Tacheng Five-String River National Wetland Park is divided into five functional zones: ecological conservation zone, ecological restoration zone, science education and publicity zone, rational utilization zone, and management service zone.
