Manas County Museum

The total building area of the Manas County Museum is 4,840 square meters, including an exhibition hall area of 2,100 square meters. Currently, the museum has four permanent exhibitions. The first floor features the "Soul of the Manas River" exhibition hall, which primarily focuses on the Manas River as its theme and showcases Manas County’s titles as the “Capital of China’s Hetian Jade,” “National Wetland Park,” “National Forest Park,” and “International Wine Estate,” as well as the "Manas County Family Tradition and Morality Exhibition Hall." The second floor hosts the "Historical Relics Exhibition of Manas," which presents cultural relics from various historical periods of Manas County in chronological order. The third floor includes the "Manas National Defense Education Exhibition" and the "Integrity Exhibition Hall."

The new building of the Manas County Museum was completed in November 2011, with exhibition setup beginning in 2012 and the official opening in December 2014. The museum’s exhibition setup received an investment of 11.75 million yuan (10.75 million yuan from county-level fiscal funds and 1 million yuan secured from higher-level sources). The total building area of the Manas Museum is 4,839.68 square meters (including 1,361.94 square meters on the underground floor, 1,361.94 square meters on the first floor, 1,057.9 square meters on the second floor, and 1,057.9 square meters on the third floor), with an exhibition hall area of 2,077.61 square meters (721.79 square meters on the first floor, 677.91 square meters on the second floor, and 677.91 square meters on the third floor). The total length of the exhibition lines is 606.24 meters (225.6 meters on the first floor, 190.32 meters on the second floor, and 190.32 meters on the third floor). The museum currently has four permanent exhibitions: "Soul of the Manas River," "Historical Relics Exhibition of Manas," "Manas National Defense Education Exhibition," and "Manas Family Tradition and Morality Exhibition Hall," along with one temporary exhibition, the "Manas Integrity Exhibition Hall." The museum houses a total of 1,526 artifacts. The museum’s storage area covers 389 square meters and is located on the underground floor.
