Qitai Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

Qitai Martyrs' Cemetery is located on Dongguan Street in Qitai County. In the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China, battles such as those at Dashapo, Liushu, and Liuwaliang took place here to suppress bandits, helping to defend and consolidate the new government and maintain the stability and unity of Xinjiang. To commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives, the cemetery was first built in 1963, covering an area of 169,000 square meters. It features a Monument to the People's Heroes, a Martyrs Memorial Hall, a sunken plaza, and a martyrs' tomb area, among others, and is the resting place of 78 martyrs. The cemetery is a Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region-level protected martyrs' memorial facility, a Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Patriotic Education Base, and a Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Red Tourism Scenic Area.
