Introduction Located in Changqing Village, Xiamao Township, Pingluo County, extending 30 meters east of the Hao Wang Canal, adjacent to Provincial Highway 201, bounded by the intersection road to Nuquan Village, Xiamao Township, in the south, reaching the former Xi Zhou factory area (including the factory grounds) in the west, and ending at the drainage gully at the junction of Xiamao Township and Chonggang Township in the north, the area covers approximately 20 square kilometers, most of which consists of mountainous terrain and alluvial fan land.

Dashuigou serves as an entrance and gathering point for the Helan Mountain Cultural Ruins and Scenic Area. The location lies in the central eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains, where an asphalt road leads deep into the mountains for up to 6 kilometers. From the mouth of the valley into the mountains, visitors can find historical sites and cultural landmarks such as the Western Xia Imperial Palace, Western Xia Summer Palace, Western Great Wall, Shangmiao Temple, Wuwang’s Training Ground, General’s Platform, barracks, ancient stone tomb clusters, and rock carvings. Natural attractions include Eighteen Arhats Mountain, Buddha Mountain, Erlang Stone Dog, Immortal Mountain, and the Bizarre Stone Beach, along with sweet-tasting mountain spring water with high development potential.
