Fengtai Liang Site

The Fengtai Liang Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Wuzhai County.

The Fengtai Liang Site is located about 200 meters southeast of Zhoujia Village, Yancheng Town, Wuzhai County. It stretches approximately 1,000 meters from east to west and 800 meters from north to south, covering a total area of around 800,000 square meters. The site sits on a riverside terrace, rising in the north and gradually descending toward the south. On the southern cliff, one ash pit was discovered, with a remaining bottom length of about 1.5 meters, a remaining top length of about 1.2 meters, and a depth of about 2 meters. A large number of pottery shards are scattered on the ground. Collected shards include gray pottery with sand tempering and gray pottery with clay body dating back to the Neolithic period, with surface decorations such as blue patterns and cord marks. In November 2001, the People's Government of Wuzhai County designated it as a county-level cultural heritage protection site. (Selected Cultural Relics of Xinzhou)
