The Hequ Section of the Ming Great Wall is a cultural relic protection unit of Shanxi Province.

The Hequ Section of the Ming Great Wall starts southward from Pianguan County. Its starting point is located 330 meters southwest of Sigou Village, Tianfengping Town, Pianguan County. It then heads south into Hequ County, winding along the Yellow River through Liujia塔 Town, Louziying Town, and Wenbi Town, ending 2,100 meters southwest of Tangjiahui Village, Wenbi Town. The wall sits at an altitude of 800 to 900 meters. The wall is built with rammed earth. There are 25 surviving sections of the wall, totaling approximately 55,000 meters in length. Along the wall, there are six passes, eleven fortresses, and fifty-five beacon towers. According to the Ming History and the Guangxu-era Shanxi General Annals from the Qing Dynasty, the existing sections of the Great Wall were built during the Chenghua, Jiajing, and Wanli eras of the Ming Dynasty (1465–1520). In 1986, the People's Government of Shanxi Province designated the historic Great Wall as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit, including this section.
