Kuicun North Site
The Kuicun North Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hequ County.
The Kuicun North Site is located about 1 kilometer north of Kuicun in Wenbi Town, Hequ County. It stretches approximately 300 meters from east to west and 200 meters from north to south, covering an area of around 60,000 square meters. The site sits on a gentle slope on the southern bank of the Yellow River, sloping from high in the south to low in the north. Surface finds include fragments of Neolithic-era gray pottery, red pottery with cord markings, and sand-tempered gray pottery with basket weave patterns. In 1984, it was designated as a county-level cultural heritage protection unit by the People's Government of Hequ County.
